Lux's First Camping Trip

I know what you're thinking...you went camping? And not just with Lux, but the fact that, I, Charlotte, went camping and suggested to Chayse that we stay the whole night and do the whole thing with everyone. Our niece, Raya, came up with the idea for her birthday party. So we packed everything we could think of (except warm clothes of course because when it's 100 degrees outside you aren't thinking of wearing pants and a jacket) and headed out to Pine Valley.
It was a beautiful place to be to enjoy nature and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Mainly due to the warm fire we were beside and the overpacking of a few others so we were able to stay warm that evening. We have amazing sleeping bags so the night wasn't what we were worried about! Lux seemed to enjoy every minute with her cousins and even stayed up til the stars came out and was up just as the sun began to rise because she just didn't want to miss a thing! She was such a trooper and only woke once during the night, leaving the other kids sleeping and the adults hearing but they were able to fall asleep soon after she calmed down (I think it was only 3-5 minutes but seemed like an eternity while surrounded by other campers!) All in all we had a fabulous time. I dare say we may even do it again before the little princesses birthday in August!
