I have been a bit behind on posting because blogger wouldn't let me upload photos. And what's a post without some photos?? So...here's the loooong awaited birthday photos since she is 19 1/2 months now. Ooops. But we blew up some balloons to stick in her room so she could wake up to some fun. She very much enjoyed that part of the day.

Splash pad with our friends!! Lux was very new at walking at this point but it was fun to see her enjoy the new found freedom in a favorite summer location.

That night we went to the park with Daddy and she wasn't too big of a fan. Hated the slide, hated the swing...oh well. It just took her a little while to warm up to those things.
We had a little friends party for Lux in our backyard, that got killed by a fungus as is seen with the brown patches behind us. Either way...the kids had a blast in a few pools and water toys we had set up. The adults all hid under the patio for shade while the children were lathered up in sunscreen and enjoyed the sunshine!
Her smash cake...that she didn't even smash! We tried to get her to taste the icing, but she wouldn't really have it. Too bad.

Oh princess...! We made it a whole year! We still aren't sleeping through the night. In fact, we've made it 10 nights total through the night...not straight. It won't be until 17 months that we hit a straight week of sleep...but that's beside the point. You are moving everywhere and trying lots of new foods. You are a big mama's girl and will pick me always. You are becoming more and more social and starting to really explore the world around you!
