Zoey has been shining lately, too. This upstart program has helped her with her letters and being able to write them. She learned to write her own name a few months ago. She would recite her name "Z-o-e-y" often and then finally got it down. She writes a 6 for an e, and it is the cutest thing ever! All I have had to do in past weeks was tell her how to spell everyone's name. Now she's memorized those (and generally writes Lux's name backward!) and worked on this beauty this morning. There's Pippa on the top left. Lux in the middle. Zoey below. Zane in the bottom right and then mommy written with n's instead on the left and she threw in some hearts and my y is above Zane's. She is such a little joy that Zo Zo!

Friday February 2
Today we got together with their cousins at the "plain blue park", otherwise known at Treasure Valley. It was nice to be in the sunshine and enjoying ourselves outside. It does keep the house a bit cleaner! Wahoo. I love seeing the kids try new things. Lux got some rollerblades that Ruby grew out of and she has been doing a great job at it. I was very worried at first and didn't want her to get on them. But she has proved me wrong in many ways! Her balance is pretty good and has been working hard at getting better on them. Soon enough I'll have to get a pair for her!
