December 26

 The day after Christmas, we took the kids to a nearby park and they text drove their new bikes! It was high time to get Zoey off her trike and she was flying! Zane did the same as he has been stealing Lux's bike to be able to stretch out his legs on the bike. Ruby was kind enough to loan Lux some roller blades she has been enjoying those so much. We ended up spending a good 3 hours at the park with their cousins and the weather was just perfect. A little chilly for a jacket, but then the sun got a bit hot and had to take off my coat. But with that as my only complaint, it was a very nice morning out with Chayse and the kids!

 Then we came back home around 4 to get ready for dinner with Chayse's parents and siblings. Perry had arranged to take us all out to Anasazi Grill for a Christmas gift and it was a divine meal! I was mocked for my pork chop, but it hit the spot. Everyone else got some steak. The fondues were wonderful and so delicious. It was a lot of fun to chat with no children. Everything tasted so wonderful and we had a great time out.

When we came back from dinner, everything was well at home with the kids. We have been so grateful for mom and dad being here and watching the kids whenever and being so willing to do so! Overall it was one wonderful day enjoyed with everyone and also allowing mom and dad to recover from their sickness to be ready for tomorrows next treatment!
